 Hyderabad, the State’s Capital has recently inaugurated the country’s 1st ever greenfield International airport in an area of about 5,400 acres of land in Shamshabad which has been designed to handle a passenger capacity of 12 million per annum & having the country’s longest runaway at 4.2 kms along with provision for global air connectivity from Hyderabad.
 The State has a vast road network (1,78,747 kms) & is blessed with the country’s second longest coastline (974 kms). It has several ports across the coastline, prominent among them being Vishakapatnam Port known for its capability to handle one of the country’s largest cargo namely at 60 million tonnes per annum.
 Andhra Pradesh is home to many large Public & Private Sector Enterprises ranging from Manufacturing (Ship building, high precision machine tools, defence electronics, etc) to Services (Hotels, IT & ITES, Hospitals, etc).
 Government of Andhra Pradesh has promoted specialised Industrial Parks on a sectoral basis.
